Giraffe 2.0

Here is the pattern with the legs worked in. I think I like this way better, just because it looks a little cleaner when stitching on the legs, and is easier to assemble than "guessing" where they should go, etc.

Giraffe
NOTE: On some of these rows, it will not end in an even stitch. (For example, you may "1sc in next 2, 2sc in next, rep around" but end in in 1 sc. As long as the end of the round numbers are the same, it works. Please use a marker, as this pattern may still need to be checked by someone. So if you see a mistake, please let me know!)

I had a few issues with redoing this part of the pattern; if the numbers are off at the end of the row by 1, it should still work out okay.

2sc in each –12
Sc in 2, 2sc in next – 16
Sc around - 16
Sc in 3, 2sc in next - 20
Switch to brown
SC around – 18
There are two ways to do this--you can sew it together with a needle, lightly stuffing, or you can use a hook and close it up. To do the latter, I sc the first stitch on each side of the ear together, for two stitches; then I sl st the next stitch; then I stuck my hook through both of the fourth stitches, YO, ch 1 in the middle (adding a chain between the two “sides” then, in other words, in the center of the ear seam) and then pulled through the stitch, slip stitching it together. I did that for 3 stitches, and then sl st the last 3 together. Don’t forget to lightly stuff :)

Nose
Magic ring – 6
2sc in each – 12
Sc in 2, 2sc in next, rep around – 16 (x2)
Sc around – 20
Leave a tail, sew on

Horns
Magic Ring 4
In back loops, sc around - 4
Like normal, sc around - 4

Tail
Magic Ring 6
In back loops, sc around - 6
Like normal, sc around - 6 (x3)
I used a few strands of brown and knotted them onto the end to give him a lil "brushy tail". ;)

Spots
Magic ring 5
2sc in each – 10
(don’t make these bigger)
